Amazon gab am Mittwoch Pl\u00e4ne bekannt, im Rahmen einer strategischen Neuausrichtung die Belegschaft seiner Cloud-Computing-Sparte Amazon Web Services (AWS) zu reduzieren.<\/p>\n

Das Unternehmen wird \u201eeinige hundert Stellen\u201c innerhalb des f\u00fcr die Technologie in den station\u00e4ren Gesch\u00e4ften zust\u00e4ndigen Teams abbauen. Diese Entscheidung erfolgt kurz nach der Ank\u00fcndigung von Amazon, die Just Walk Out-Technologie in seinen US-Lebensmittelgesch\u00e4ften einzustellen.<\/p>\n

Neben dem Technologieteam des physischen Gesch\u00e4fts k\u00fcndigte Amazon an, dass auch in der AWS-Vertriebs-, Marketing- und globalen Serviceorganisation \u201emehrere hundert Stellen\u201c abgebaut werden.
